Service & Repair
What is an Interim Service?
We recommend having an Interim Service every 6,000 miles or 6 months (whichever is sooner) to keep your car safe and roadworthy between full services.
Our Interim Service package is ideal for drivers who use their vehicle for regular, short journeys in and around town or for those drivers who have a high mileage and want peace of mind between annual services.
An Interim car service at 789 Car Service UK includes checks on essentials such as lights, instruments and fluid levels, plus a full tire & suspension inspection. A visual brake inspection is also included.
What is a Full Service?
Our Full Service is ideal as an annual maintenance program for your car. We recommend your car receives a Full Service every 12,000 miles or 12 months – whichever is sooner.
A Full Service, also known as a Major Service, each year will reduce the risk of breakdown and can help maintain the value of the vehicle.
Our Full Service includes all items included in the Interim Service package plus a thorough inspection of your engine and a full brake inspection. A major car service also includes an air filter and extensive checks of items under the bonnet including brake, fuel and radiator pipes and hoses, power steering fluid and auxiliary drive belt adjustments (if required).

Battery Replacement & Fitting
How does your car battery work?
When you turn the key to start your car, the battery supplies power to the starter motor, which turns the engine over. At the same time, power from the battery is supplied to the spark plugs in order to ignite the fuel and air mixture that has been compressed in the engine combustion cylinders.
The battery power used during the starting up process is then replaced by the alternator, which supplies the bulk of electrical current to your car's electrical systems, keeping your battery fully charged.

NOTICE
Car Breakdown Recovery take your safety very seriously. Try not to leave your car or vehicle anywhere with poor visibility to other drivers - roundabouts, bends, busy roads. Of course this is not always possible, but please remember to abandon the vehicle to a safe distance with the vehicle's hazard lights on and if possible, a hazard triangle 45 meters behind your car to warn other drivers to slow down.
